International Journal of Engineering Research in Big Data Systems (IJERBDS) publishes original, peer-reviewed research and scholarly work in the subject areas listed below. All articles are open access.

- Apply a fair, double-blind peer review to every submission.
- Make all published work freely and permanently available online.

- Work outside the subject areas above.
- Papers without an original scholarly contribution, such as news items, advertisements or product promotion.
- Work already published or under review elsewhere.
- Opinion pieces without supporting evidence or analysis.
