Abstract

Serverless architectures have emerged as a transformative paradigm in cloud computing, enabling scalable, cost-efficient, and flexible solutions. This study evaluates the potential of serverless architectures for building scalable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. By analyzing their capabilities in managing fluctuating workloads, real-time data processing, and integration with third-party tools, the research highlights both advantages and challenges. A prototype CRM system is developed using leading serverless platforms to benchmark performance metrics such as latency, scalability, and cost. The findings indicate that serverless architectures provide substantial benefits for CRM systems but require careful consideration of cold-start latency, vendor lock-in, and debugging complexities.
