Abstract

Cloud computing has become a cornerstone for modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems due to its scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. However, the sensitive nature of customer data, combined with the vulnerabilities of centralized cloud services, has raised concerns regarding data privacy. Blockchain technology, renowned for its decentralized and tamper-proof features, presents an innovative solution to these privacy concerns. This paper explores the integration of blockchain technology into cloud-based CRM systems to enhance data privacy. We propose a framework that combines the benefits of both cloud computing and blockchain to secure customer data, ensure transparency, and provide an immutable audit trail. Through statistical analysis and case studies, we demonstrate the potential improvements in data security and privacy when blockchain is incorporated into CRM systems. The findings suggest that blockchain integration can significantly reduce data breaches, unauthorized access, and enhance customer trust in cloud-based CRM platforms.
