Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms have revolutionized the delivery of software solutions, offering scalability, accessibility, and cost-efficiency. However, in an increasingly competitive market, user experience (UX) has emerged as a critical differentiator that can drive customer retention, satisfaction, and overall product success. This study explores the application of user experience research methodologies to enhance SaaS products. By integrating both qualitative and quantitative UX research approaches, we examine how iterative testing, user feedback, and data analytics can inform design and functionality improvements. The research involved surveying SaaS users, analyzing engagement metrics, and conducting usability tests on a prototype redesigned based on UX insights. Our findings indicate that systematic UX research not only identifies pain points but also informs actionable design improvements that lead to higher satisfaction rates, reduced churn, and improved task efficiency. The paper discusses the implications of these findings for SaaS development teams and provides a framework for integrating UX research into agile development cycles.
